Planter Fasciitis

Can anyone tell me if they have this and if so, what has worked for you to help with the pain? I believe this is what I have but don't have an appointment with the foot doctor until 9/12. The pain in unbelieveable especially when I get up from sitting or laying. It started a couple months ago and has gottne progressively worse. I'm sure it does not help that I have worn flip flops and summer shoes the last 3 mos. Has anyone tried Orthaheel shoes and have they helped with this problem? Thanks to anyone that can give me some insight.
