Thank you. I'm gonna try the baked eggplant first. And since I like lasagna I wanna try that one also.

This is a good FB open group about plant based eating.
(honestly I could post a million more!)
Lots & lots of weekly menus, shopping lists, meals...
and this post...her own amazing weight loss success story.
Her husband has also had the same success.
She doesn’t really talk about her success...just food & how to do it.
What a cutie....easy, peasy!

There are tons of LCHF and intermittent fasting FB groups, too, with incredible before/after pics, just for the record.

This is a new YouTuber I discovered....and wanted to share among the
Plant-Based Success Stories!
Kiki has lost 40lb on a Plant Based diet, high in starches & low in fat...
and no calorie restriction eating potatoes, rice, beans, fruit/veg. Simple.
She did initially lose 20lb on a LCHF, but didn’t make her healthy
(reverse pre-diabetes, high BP, high Cholesterol)...which proves anyone
can lose weight, but healing for long-ten success is only about WFPBNO.
She doesn't have many videos (unknown), but I attached her intro video...
and also one where she details what she eats.
She’s very upbeat & positive...just sharing her experience about
this beautiful, simple, healing lifestyle! Enjoy!
💛🌼

I think we need another success story celebrating
the beautiful Plant Based Lifestyle!
This one will prove being vegetarian isn’t enough.
Cutting out fats, oils, dairy, eggs..makes all the
difference in the world...💚🌿
Nadia still exercises 6xweek, but it’s not needed for
weight control. Weight loss is due to food, but the
extra energy just comes from good food!

I had a friend who has high blood pressure and ate the SAD watch Forks Over Knives with me in May. He has certainly fallen off the wagon a few times but has pretty consistently eaten WFPB (little or no oil) since May. He went to his doctor for a check-up yesterday and got his lab report back today--
His cholesterol dropped 68 points! It had been steadily increasing the last few years and he should have been on statins but now has it down to 171! His blood pressure dropped 10 points (both numbers) and he lost 10 pounds (he really doesn't need to lose any more).
I think the 68 point cholesterol drop is HUGE! 👍😃

W.o.w.
68 points to 171?? What a drop in cholesterol numbers!!
I believe Dr. Esselstyn has said 150 is ’Heart Attack Proof.’
Sound like he’s on the right path.
Does he have in-person support....or online support to keep him
motivated & accountable?

@sidsmom The successful drop in cholesterol will keep him even more motivated to continue. And he is constantly you tubing the plant-based and functional medicine doctors for information and inspiration! When he told me his cholesterol number he said he should have been in Game Changers, except he's not an athlete. 😃
He started the WFPB WOE because of me, who started it because of you. You ARE touching lives. 💜
His triglycerides did go up. I remembering you explaining the "why" and that they should level out eventually. I will search for that information.
