Another great source of plant protein is seaweed (kelp). I grew up eating different kinds of it in Japanese food (nori). I love it.

@SilleeMee, my newest discovery is dulse: I love it for seasoning.

Other than sushi nori, I can't say that I have seen too much seaweed around-other than seaweed salad! I could kill to get the raw ingredients myself and make it.

Educate us please!

I mostly make Wakame seaweed soup. There are many recipes for it and you can find them on a google search. Sometimes I put tofu squares and egg (drop) in my soup just to add more protein. Dried fish flakes (Katsuobushi), aka Bonito fish, added to the soup as a garnish makes it tasty, too. A word or caution, however, for those on restricted sodium intake...this may not be for you, it's high in sodium!

@lolakimono  My kind of food.  I make bowls that remind me of your picture....might include some tomato, corn, lettuce, beans/quinoa on occasion, asparagus, bell peppers, (whatever is on hand).  Drizzle this with a tahini lime dressing (I make my own)  and I'm happy!  Fruits and veggies for the win!
