I need to find a good way to crush Aleve pills. I always take two at night with my arthritis. This way I get up in the morning feeling better. With my jaw shut I can't take them. Can someone reccommend a good pill crusher. And can I put it in water to dislove.

@ccassaday

I use an old fashioned mortar and pestle, when I need to grind up meds. They're not expensive at all.

Thanks. It says not to crush Aleve. I have to figure out how I am going to take something. I feel like ****** in the morning.

If you go to the Aleve website, it says that you can crush it...even though ideally they recommend that you do not. I could not copy and paste the specific question here for some reason. Here is the website: https://www.aleve.com/faq/labeling-and-usage/ . The question about crushing Aleve is the last question in FAQ.

There's liquid baby pain relievers, like Motrin and Tylenol.

You would have be sure which one you are taking, infant or children and the right dosage.

A pharmacist can help you

Hope you feel better soon.

I have liquid Motrin that the hospital sent home. I guess I can give it a try. Aleve always works so well. I might try and take one. They are small so I am not worried about choking. Just worried of it getting stuck in the wires.

Aleve doesn't do anything for me.     There may be a liquid Aleve product available, I just know there is liquid Motrin & Tylenol.   Ask your pharmacist.

Ahh, if it says not to crush Aleve then I sure wouldn't!

What about a pill splitter and split into half or pieces that you can swallow?

I had kidney failure from Ibuprofen and can't take anything but Tylenol, including Aleve.

Good luck, I hope you find a way!

I have some arthritis Tylenol that I switched to before surgery. But they are huge. I defintly don't think I could get it done. They are extended relief so I don't think you could split or crush them.
