Would you please help me with the Keto app you mentioned in an earlier thread. Keto Diet Buddy. When I put it in the app store, several come up, none called exactly that and I don't know which one to choose! Thanks, Starr

Keto Buddy for Setting Macros 

 

Hi @Starpolisher  yay for you!!  

 

I have only used the Keto Buddy online, when I started keto, for setting my macros.  The link I provided is for the macro setting calculator. They have supplied some numbers which you will replace with your own.  FYI - set your activity as sedentary and body fat to 30% if you want to lose weight

 

I actually use the Carb Manager app daily for planning and tracking my foods. It also has a similar type calculator for setting your macros, so the Diet Buddy isn't even necessary, IMO.  Just remember, planning what you're going to eat in advance will set you up for success.  Logging your foods after you've already eaten them will show a lot of "oopses" because we tend to underestimate when we're guessing at serving amounts.  Weigh and measure everything. For your meats, the weight you enter is for the raw state. Do your best not to exceed your protein.  Be sure to take electrolytes, they are non-negotiable.

Thank you so much for your concern! I haven't been doing Keto but rather low carb. It took me six months just to lose twenty pounds. I just this week started doing OMAD and counting calories. Hope this helps. Thanks again for your help and concern! Starr🌟
