My pain doctor has recommended that I try this device. For my chronic back pain. In lieu of surgery. I have researched the device and it looks like ke it could help.

has anyone experienced this device ?

Re: PERIPHERAL NERVE STIMULATOR

I've not personally used the device, but I have spoken with patients who felt it was very beneficial. In my opinion, if this could prevent surgery, I would give it chance.

Everything doesn't work for everyone, but I'd try to avoid surgery, since back surgery is not always as successful as we hope either and can have complications.

So, I'd start off with the least invasive plan. If you try the PNS device, let us know how it works for you. Good luck.

Re: PERIPHERAL NERVE STIMULATOR

@I am still oxox

if you google it you will find a lot of good information

my understanding is that wires are attached to the nerves that are creating the pain....in my case the SI joint.  There is a srimulator that you use to interrupt the pain signals.

mine is from a medical device company called Curinex.

if it works it is supposed to be very successful.

i follow you on the forums . You could chat with your dr about it.
