I have posted before. Since February I have had multiple UTI's. Anyway, lately I have had the same belly button pain, and recently in the past few months have developed pelvic pain also. Long story short, I went to the ER because of the pain and they did an ultrasound and found a small cyst on my ovary.
The doctor said this would not be causing this much pain, but wants me to see a gynecologist anyway. I did not have a UTI this time, but I am on maintenance antibiotics to prevent UTI's.
Anyway, the ER doc was not concerned about the cyst because she said we are all female and it is common, but wants a gynecologist to keep an eye on it. Would this cyst cause this much pain? I have an appt. next week.
During the Transvaginal Ultrasound when she pressed on one side I was in extreme pain and I think it was painful because she was pressing on the cyst.
