I think I could live on a steady diet of olives of all kinds and not much else, but I currently regard them as special treats because of the salt content. We have a wonderful olive bar with about a dozen varieties at our local A&P.

I love olives, too. And I know it sounds like I eat them all day, every day. But it's just that they are a staple in our home. Something I always have to have in the house.

I've never seen an Olive bar. I can't stand the things.
