Your dinner sounds amazing! You're right about him being a meat and potatoes guy lol. He bought some pork chops he'll no doubt want cooked soon lol. He does cook...for Ruby everyday! She gets venison he puts in the crockpot! No one else here would dare eat that, but she loves it!
He also cooks white beans and soup beans in the crockpot. Another meal that's NOT my favorite lol.
@cheriere My dinner was a family favorite last night! So good! That's great that your dad can cook some things, some guys don't even use the stove! Ooh Ruby must be a really healthy dog with the protein from venison- I like venison burgers
. Also, I think you and your mom could call the office to get more pills prescribed- I hope that works since she took her last one. She should definitely switch doctors. I think that your mom will be ok, and I'm so glad that she has you to advocate for her and tke her to the appointments.
Lol, Ruby sure eats good! He makes sure of that above all else. But, what gets her is that he's got her addicted to having a Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream snack cake for dessert once she finishes her meat! She doesn't get the whole thing, but about half...which is still too much! I can't get this through my dads head.

- I love snack cakes. My favorite snack cakes are Hostess Snowballs and Hostess Vanilla Zingers . Did you know that Little Debbie makes snack cake flavored ice cream now? Ruby would go crazy over that!

No, I didn't know about the ice cream! Sounds like something I'm gonna have to try!😃
@cheriere I saw Little Debbie's ice cream at my local bargain supermarket and they even have Ruby's favorite flavor ! The ice cream is available at Walmart and a lot of major grocery stores now. I'm going to try it some time !

@cheriere You're welcome, Cheriere! There are a ton of Little Debbie ice cream flavors out there and they look deliicous . You can make Ruby a little ice cream sundae out of it !
