Thank you so much.❤️. You're prayers have definitely worked because it doesn't look as though she's going to have surgery...for now anyways.

It was a very long day yesterday.  We're both worn out.  But, you're prayers have really helped.  They set it in a cast and did a closed reduction to try and relocate another bone.  We go back in two weeks for an X-ray to make sure it's healing properly.

Thank you again.❤️❤️❤️

Fr now, it doesn't look as though she'll have to have surgery.  They set the none in a cast and then did a closed reduction.  She's in a lot of pain today.😔❤️  But, it's a lot better than surgery.

@cheriere ----No am thinking she will not be able to do that stuff for awhile--if it is broken and needs surgery-- have to tell you, it is really, REALLY painful!!! Maybe she will have to do her shopping online and have it delivered to her. Was a full month after surgery until  I was able to get comfortable to even sleep at night. I only took OTC pain meds--but should have taken the drs meds. But hoping it is nothing that serious!!

I'm so thankful they don't think it will need surgery.  They set the bone and then did a closed reduction.  It was really painful for her.  In fact, today she's hurting really bad.

It aggravated me that the Dr wasn't even going to give her anything.  She asked to please get something for relief.  He gave her 3 days of a low dose pain reliever.  I feel terrible for her.
In two weeks, we're supposed to go back for more X-rays and maybe a different cart to make sure the bones are healing correctly.

I really appreciate your support.  It means a lot to me.  Thank you so much.❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for your prayers and good wishes.  She ended up having to get a cast, but it could've been worse.  Thank you again.❤️❤️❤️

@cheriere , well wishes for your mom that all she will need is a cast and no surgery. My late mother fell many years ago and did a job on her elbow and that required surgery. Prayers for you and your mom and let us know how she makes out.

I'm so appreciative for your kindness, thank you.❤️❤️❤️

She ended up breaking the tip of her radius and it dislocated from her ulnar bone.  So, they put on a cast and then did a manual relocation.  It hurt her really bad.  She's still in a lot of pain.

We go back in two weeks for more X-rays to make sure it's healing right.

Thank you so much.❤️❤️❤️

The news was better than surgery.  However, she did break her wrist bone and it dislocated from her forearm.  They ended up carting it and doing a very painful manual reduction.  She's in a lot of pain.  We go back for more X-rays in two weeks to make sure it's healing properly.

@on the bay

Tjank you so very much for your post.❤️❤️❤️

You really gave me a lot of great advice to keep in mind.

Yesterday, she did end up being diagnosed with a broken wrist.  Plus, it was dislocated from her forearm.  They cast it and then did a VERY painful manual reduction to put it back in place.  I felt terrible for her.  She's still in tremendous pain.

That crazy orthopedic dr wasn't going to give her anything for the pain either!  She asked and he kinda laughed and started to walk away!  I stopped him and said she must have something!  She can't be expected to just suffer!  He gave her three days worth if a very weak pain med and told her to take Tylenol too!  I can't understand this for someone her age who's actually injured.
