O@B/Gyn testing not called for by history or clinical findings

so not covered by insurance.

I went to a new ob/gyn for my annual & pap. They wanted to draw blood. I asked what for & the list was blood work routinely done by my other doctors. I said no.

Now I am getting a bill for std testing which is totally unwarranted by my history or clinical findings. The doctor never mentioned these additional tests to me.

It is $270 I am not planning to pay.

Is anyone else running into this?

Monday my complaint to the State Medical Board goes out.
