They only talk about eating cookies, mac and cheese, pizza and cake.... Of course overeaters and those who are addicted to junk food are going to fall for it in their desperation and hopes for a slim trim new them.
How is this program training these people to eat healthy? It is a sure fail if you go off their fast food copy food... and back to go back to eating the junk they are feeding you on your own. It will be a life time diet... you fall off.. you go back on the program .. up and down down and up.
Sure fail. The person never learns to eat right...

Agree and add very expensive for food that just doesn't taste that good. God a sample type pack at WallMart once, even the dog turned her nose up and walked away

I understand the food isn't so good...read it on these boards...if someone wants to try it...go to your local Walmart....they have a small, I think its a week worth, of the product to try...then your not investing whatever they are charging at the Q....I haven't watched it today...you can always get your money back at walmart and no shipping...
Oh, I do want to add....eating right and exercise is the only way to lose weight and keep it off....believe me I know....I have been up and down that weight scale all my life...

Of course you can eat pizza - your slice will be about 1/8 of an inch across but it is ,as promised, pizza. I don't think many people are really this stupid to fall for those ads.

I am on NS right now and have lost almost 10 lbs the last few weeks. It is more about ease and portion control. You also have to eat at least 4 servings of vegetables a day. This is no different than WW that you can eat whatever also and WW is rated the best. It is more about how to eat and how much. For some of us, it is not that easy.

You know what? Back in 1969 I lost lots of pounds using WW. That was when we prepared all our own food, before WW sold theirs. I don't remember what lots was, but more than 30.
Did I learn how to eat, how to maintain? Sure, I know exactly what to do, what a portion looks like, etc. Did the weight stay off? I wish!
I don't think many "learn" to eat properly. If we did, the success rate of losers wouldn't still be about 5%, and each time I sign into a WW meeting in my hometown, I wouldn't still be saying hello to the same people over and over.
For me the main reason to avoid Nutrisystem is that I don't like what they sell in terms of taste. Some of the main courses weren't so bad, but the one time I tried it, I didn't find one snack or one dessert I loved. Lots of those eventually went into the garbage.

Planning and portion control. Many people don't know how much they really are eating.

I volunteer at a local food bank and we have a special bin for Nutrisystem food that is donated so it must taste pretty bad.
