No Melatoni if you have Autoimmune disease? (thyroid issues for me) UGH!!!

I just read the add'l antioxidants and supplements off the bottle last night for another post. I also happened to read that you can't take it if you have auto immune disease (or asthma).

I thought I had read the bottle (over and over!) but somehow missed this very important sentence.

I know I read the booklet that comes from pharmacy EVERY MONTH when I get my Levothyroxine refilled. Never saw a mention of melatonin.

This has been such a life saver for me for the past 2 months! Talk about heavenly sleep. The kind where it doesn't take me forever to fall asleep. I go to bed much earlier. I wake up refreshed and not groggy. And all day long I keep thinking to myself how well I slept the night before. I literally brag about it to anyone who's near! It has been awesome. And now I can't take it.

I have a call into my Dr. office to get his take on this. I hope he calls back soon. I may ask my pharmacist too. I hope I can continue.

I haven't slept this well in YEARS!
