Anyone taking Nicotinamide that has been shown in a study done in Australia to reduce by 25% basal cell and squammous skin cancers in people who have had several? I read the article on Google.

Not sure if it's "new" because the study wasn't referenced.
A two-year-old study using two doses of 500 mg daily appeared to have protective effects in the study group. Here's a link to the paper in the NEJM.

Thanks for the reference. I don't know how to do that in a message.

I have been taking Nicotinamide for the past couple of months (2)500mg per day. It was recommended by my derm after another basal cell diagnosis that required Mohs surgery on my forehead. I have had five or six basal cells over the past ten years. I found the "non-flushing" version of Nicotimamide on Amazon.
