No surprise here. So easy to make your own sandwiches stuffed with fresh produce...processed ingredients (especially animal based like those listed in this recall) are not healthy for anyone.

Fresh ingredients are also prone to Listeria contamination. Listeria contamination is seen in plant products as well as meat products. Avoiding processed ingredients might help you avoid other illness but it won’t help you avoid Listeria. Healthiness and contamination are different things.
