New disc replacement procedure on The Doctors today....

Has anyone had, or do you know anything about it from a personal level....the new disc replacement procedure that was shown on The Doctors today? I was practically jumping up and down with excitement! I called the doc's office in California (nice people) and asked what equipment was used, so I will be researching that as well.
