I was made aware of the condition after I was diagnosed with scleroderma. I'm at risk for developing that condition.

@SilleeMee  I read that when I Googled it after she told me about it.  I asked if they had a reason why it happened and she said no.

 

She's not a drinker, another cause I think.  I don't think she has ever had a drink in her life.  

 

I'm sure they will do further testing.  Her congestive heart failure didn't help anything.  They had to get several pounds of fluid off her before they could safely do endoscopy.

I've never heard of "watermelon stomach" either.  I hope she recovers soon.  Please pass on our well wishes to your dear sister.
