Need opinions on yours. Shopping for new Omron BP Monitor.

[ Edited ]

Need opinions on yours. Shopping for new Omron BP Monitor. My trusty monitor is acting wonky after many years. I've been reading all the features of the new Omron Monitors. If you have a newer model and have any info about it, please share. Both cuff and wrist models are OK to let me know about. I'm not a big fan of having to link to a phone. Thanks.

I bought this one earlier this year from Walmart. Seems like a decent one for me.

Mine is Reli On brand sold at Walmart but made by Omron. Wrist type, had it for 12 years now, very accurate, even my doc thinks it is, I take it with me when I see her.

I have the same one.  It is my second Omron and I was very happy with both of them. My first one was ruined as my bad kitty, Miss Grace, bit the tubing and it would no longer work.....🤣🤣🤣🤣

I also have had one for years like @Meowingkitty has posted.  Seems to be very reliable and easy to use.  I prefer the arm band, rather than the wrist models.

I've used an Omron bp for years.  It is the best.

@Meowingkitty @I've been looking at that one. There's another one that looks EXACTLY  like it except that on its screen there's no little heart icon next to the pulse number. Do you know anything about that? @geezerette @4kitties

I agree with @Shelbelle.  Get Walmart's Relion brand.  Much cheaper and they are made by Omron.

On my unit the heart is used to indicate your heart beat.  When the machine has pumped air into the cuff and is slowly coming down to find your B/P, the little heart pulses each time your heart beats.

If you have a skip or discrepancy in your beats, when it finishes and show your completed B/P the little heart will have parentheses around it to show your heart beat isn't normal.  (((❤️)))

Mine is the model BP742 (HEM-7200-Z). I do not know about the heart icon.  Mine has it.

It has a memory for two different users too.
