Although I can understand your worry, fear only makes things worse. It's much better to think positive and stay in gratitude. Make a game of it and see how many things you can name that you're thankful for.

Just fyi, thermography catches issues much sooner than mammography and isn't painful.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I just got back and now the waiting begins. They said due to the holiday I probably will not get results until Wednesday.

I will definitely say a prayer for you. And I think it being the anniversary is a good omen. You released that cancer and will continue to have a healthy life. Don't let fear weigh you down. Whatever happens you can and will handle it. (((((hugs))))))

@ThinkingOutLoud thermography can be so helpful to stop having unnecessary painful biopsy's....the cancer shows up as "HOT" if it is a concern....so areas that would normally get a biopsy do not need one if the area shows "cool". For women who tend to get a lot of concerning spots on mammograms this can save unnecessary biopsies.

I do think both mammograms and thermography should be done to really get the best reading.

I will not get another mammogram due to the pain of having my breasts flattened like that and the technicians always saying to me oh, how odd others don't complain. Will definitely check out thermography.

squirt 60,I also am a breast cancer survivor. I get a huge pit in my stomach when I go for annual mamagram.i will say a huge prayer for u tonight.im sure everything will be fine
