I tried Dr. N's Hydro Screen Serum and it did not feel hydrating at all to me. It's full of silicones and it didn't sink in but felt like an occlusive product which is the intended purpose of that product. Not what I expected in a serum. It should be labelled as a 'sealant' b/c that's what it does...not a treatment product at all to me.

 

I have not used Skinn's Elixir so I can't compare it to that. But I would tend to think since it's an oil then it's better than silicone.
