CAN ANYONE WHO HAS THEM TELL ME IF THEY CONTAIN MILK OR ANY

ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS. THANK YOU. I ASKED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND

THEY DO NOT HAVE THE INGREDIENTS????

I don't know about the turbo shakes, but the basic chocolate shakes have the ingredients listed on the Nutrisystem site and are:

whey protein concentrate, cocoa (processed with alkali), sugar, fructose, natural flavor, calcium phosphate, high oleic sunflower oil, guar gum, maltodextrin, carrageenan, salt, soy lecithin, xanthan gum, rebaudioside a (stevia), sodium caseinate, monk fruit extract, potassium phosphate, tocopherols added to protect flavor, vitamin a palmitate. contains milk and soy.

I would guess they're similar, but I don't know how similar. You might be able to call customer service at Nutrisystem and ask them.

They do contain milk and soy and sweeteners. But off hand I don't know if they contain artificial sweeteners.

just read an article that carrageenan causes cancer. It's a thickener. Lots of ****** chemicals in that. I use pure whey powder , water and fruit. Filling and high protein.

just make your own shakes.... not that difficult and actually they will be healthier and better for you.

Whey powder is more damaging than anything.

Additional, unneeded protein your kidneys has to process.

Processed dairy products are notorious for having heavy metals or other toxic compounds.

Carrageenan hasn't been proven to cause cancer.

It's usually the 'company it keeps' which is cancer causing (dairy, fat, sodium, chemicals) in the long run, not the carrageenan itself.

That is a lot of unnecessary sugar and carb. Fructose is the 2nd ingredient! Skip the nonfat milk( lots of natural milk sugar) use unsweeteed almond or cashew milk instead. Pea protein is much better than whey protein. Add some Hemp seed protein powder too. Sweeten with stevia. Take a multi vitamin. Add whatever else you enjoy within reason.

Food products are added and subtracted to that cancer list every week. I've seen some items go on and off so many times, I can't remember, good or bad. I find it pretty humorous, and disgusted at the same time that this all might have to do with who lines the pockets of those doing the studies. We'll never win the food game!
