NEW OUTBREAK. SALMONELLA saintpaul. Source still undetermined

So far, there have been 60 persons sickened by Salmonella saintpaul. The cause of this outbreak is under current investigation by the CDC. The CDC has not published the states involved yet. The CDC has not published anything about possible sources yet. The investigation is in its infancy. Once more is known, there will be more published. In 2008, there was a previous outbreak due to this type of Salmonella which was probably due to jalapeño peppers. In 2013 an outbreak was probably due to imported cucumbers.

They have documnted cases, that's enough reason right there.  Be on your guard and if you come down with something unusual, get it checked out.

@depglass   Yeah, eat nothing, drink nothing, touch nothing and you'll be fine.  If you reel nauseated, run to the emergency room.  This is ridiculous and if people took it seriously, which they won't, it could start a panic
