Miracle Miles by Leslie Sansone

Does anybody have it.  I've been using it for about 2 weeks and think it's one of her best tapes ever.  I ordered it from QVC here.  Well worth my little money.

It's a set of 5 DVDs, each DVD consisting of a walk at home fitness walk.  I haven't done the 3, 4 or 5 mile tape yet but looking forward to it.

Leslie is her usual talkative self but she's toned it down a little, lol.  She used to kinda work my nerves talking while looking back at her group, in the mean time, losing step.  The editing is much better than the VCR tapes I used to use.  I hadn't bought one since the mid ninties.  The woman is the exact same size....the nerve!!!

Leslie incorporates this thing she calls a fitness band which looks like a chain of circles made of rubber.  Very light weight. Love it!  You put your hands in the circles of your choice, depending on the amount of resistance you want.  For a little resistance you use the outtermost circles of the band; for more resistance you use bands closer in.  It takes about 20 to do one mile.  Really easy, not boring but you sure sweat.

In her older tapes, all she did was walk with minimal vasriations.  In these, she also does what is called booster walking, kicks, knee lifts and others that I can't recall.  I have joint issues and I have no problem getting through them.

I have it too and got it from QVC. Like that she is not being hyper. That's a plus with me.

I work out at the gym three times a week using weights and various equipment. So I use this as a cardio workout on the other 3-4 days of the week in order to keep active.

Re: Miracle Miles by Leslie Sansone

I don't have this particular set but I have loads of Leslie's taps and DVD's.  There are a few sets I don't like and some I like better than others, some I love.

I have DVD's such as Walk & Jog, Walk & Kick and many others that all involve various "boosters" such as weighted gloves, weighted balls, the belt and regular stretchy bands.

The ones I love the most are the ones on VCR that use the belt.  But my VCR is really old so I need to see if I can convert all these to DVR.  LOL

One of my other faves, also VCR, is called Walk N Tone (I think).  You start off walking, then you stop and do toning using a stretchy band, then put the band down and walk more, then use the stretchy band more, etc. until you've done 2 miles of walking.

Oh, @Lipstickdiva, I have soooo many exercise tapes for a vcr that I can't use anymore, lol.  I'm seriously thinking about investigating the cost to convert to DVDs.

It looks really good, but I don't do DVDs anymore and prefer to stream my media. I have a few of her videos in my Amazon streaming library. I really like her and was glad to see she has a new Miracle Miles set out.

I have it & really like it. I think the bands are great. It's more of a total body workout with the bands.

I like it, too, and I love that band.  It's easier to hold than other bands.  I wish Leslie would sell it as a stand-alone product.

That circle band is what kicks the program up a notch.  I have a band from another exercise program around here somewhere.  Used it maybe twice.  You had to wrap the excess around your hands with no resistance change whereas Leslie has these circles to hold depending on the resistance needed.
