On a continuum from 1 to 10, do you tend to be a believer or non-believer? Use 1 as Big Believer and 10 as Total Non-Believer.
I will start. I am a 2.

I am sure your question makes perfect sense to you as you have all the background info in your mind, but I don’t have a clue what you are wondering about or asking. On a continuum of 1 to 10, rank me as totally confused!

Ok.
I'll qualify it.
In terms of most popular modern day illnesses: 1-10
(ex):
Diabetes T2
High blood pressure
Cholesterol
10.
These are food borne illnesses.
No medication needed to reverse & maintain if the
proper diet is established.

Sorry, gals. There was recently a thread about the dangers of some meds. A few gals said they avoid prescribed medications--like shots and pills in the bottles from Walgreen's--big pharma.
I know I am so different. I take just about everything doctors order and have not had many problems.
I was just wondering if other posters tend to embrace big pharma meds or avoid them and to what degree.

I avoid them unless absolutely necessary. Doctors are too quick to dole out pills and shots IMO. I prefer to ask the doctor if they can suggest a natural alternative rather than just say okay to the meds and have to deal with potential side effects.

If it's a rx I definately take it then work on trying to get off of it! I did that with my high bp rx and my high a1c. No longer need to take meds for these.
Why would anyone not take what their doc has prescribed??

I fill and take whatever is prescribed. The only exception was a prescription for pain pills after surgery last year. I filled it, but didn't take them since there was little to no pain.
