My father recently moved to my medium size town to be near me. I have been trying to help him get appointments with new doctors. I called about 6 Family Physicians today who told me they were not accepting new Medicare patients. I was becoming frantic until I finally found one who would take him. I think it is a new doctor in town. I never thought that this might be a problem when he moved. Has anyone else had problems like this? Now I am worried about finding specialists such as a cardiologist. Are we going to find the same problem?
