My husband's retirement prescription insurance plan through his former employer was changed to Medicare Part D at age 73 - no choice. The first prescription amounts are a complete shock. He takes several high cost medicines and we do not know how we are going to pay for them, especially when he goes into the doughnut hole. Does anyone know of any alternative or supplemental policies offered seniors?
