Teddixat,  I will watch the video later today.  Thanks for posting the link.  My husband passed in May after falling and was in intensive care for 7 days.  I haven't gotten any bills yet but from what came from Medicare and our supplemental payments I won't be paying much.  I was happy with the supplemental.  My clinic has been pushing an advantage plan but I never wanted to go on one.  It was known that my supplemental was the best in the area.  I just got my medicare book last Saturday.  Will check it out.  Thanks.

@kismet When it comes to a supplement, there is no "best", a supplement is a supplement is a supplement no matter which company you choose.  They all cover or don't cover the exact same things.  The only difference is in the premiums.

I was told by more than one doctors office that I did have the best in the area.  It was through a large company and employees that are still working are known to have the best also.  I had no copays for doctors either.  My drugs were covered also.

For those of you on UHC are you on the supplement or medicare advantage?  I did see that my clinic only accepts certain medicare advantage plans and they do accept regular medicare which I have.  Someone above posted if the doctor accepts Medicare they have to accept my supplement.  I didn't know that.  If that's the case I may be able to stay at the clinic and just go with UHC for my supplement.  I did check different plans and the one drug plan won't cover one of my medications.  I can get it at a good price using Good RX.  They put it on a tier 3 and I have to more or less pay the whole thing.  I take 2 pills of the same medication a day but in different strengths.  The higher strength is on the 3rd tier.  It's a BP pill which I thought for sure would be covered.
