The 5000 masks found at National Cathedral were tested and are OK.  They were donated to two D.C. hospitals.

I am high risk. Old and underlying conditions.  I had to go out yesterday for a dental emergency.  I then stopped at a grocery store.  First time I have been out in 2 weeks.  I wore a homemade mask and gloves.

 

It's not jjust the COVID19 I'm concerned about.  I'm also concerned about the flu, colds, coughs and all the rest of that stuff, that if I get will wear down my immune system even more.

 

I am well aware the homemade mask doesn't give total protection, obviously we shouldn't think it does, but I will take the protection it does give over nothing at all. 

 

I was told to wear a mask when going through chemo if I was going out amongst people, so I figure it does have some protection.
