That's a great question to pose to Andrews Customer Service.

I'm jst about positive that Andrew has mentioned 3-4 times that the MC should not be mixed with hot liquids. I meant to mention this before but I kept forgetting.

P.S. it's great to see a number of Wenner here who also use Andrew's products. These are really the only two brands I purchase regularly via the shopping channels (though now I purchase directly from Procaps).

I wondered about this too so I wrote Pro Caps yesterday asking if it could be put in coffee or if that would harm the effectiveness.  I heard back from them today (good customer service!) and was told it can be put in warm liquids, but recommended not putting it in coffee as it might clump or thicken.  Nothing was said about harming its effectiveness.

I also drink Lessman's green tea and this is what I tried today that worked very well. I make his tea in the morning and let it cool a bit then put it in my refrigerator to drink it cold with my lunch.  Today after it cooled a bit I sprinkled the Marine Collagen in my cup of tea and just let it sit there, not stirring at all.  I came back a while later and it had completely disappeared into the tea. Not a clump to be found!  I gave it a stir then put it in the fridge.  Think this is what I will do from now on.

I have put it in both tea and coffee before and cannot taste it in either.

I mix it in my coffee every day. It dissolves completely & doesn't change the taste at all.

I also spoke with Procaps CS a few days back. The CS rep felt that it was alright to put the MC in warm coffee but not in boiling hot coffee. I had to push her a bit on this before she said that she thought boiling hot water might damage the MC peptides.

Re: Marine Collagen by Andrew Lessman updates

Especially with Andrew Lessman's online HSN presentations coming up this next weekend, I was wondering if people  had seen any results from the Marine Collagen the had bought from Procaps Labs during the July TS.

I also spoke with Pro Caps and she told me it was OK to put it in hot coffee and that is what I have been doing. She said it was a protien and heat won't destroy protien.  Seems like we are getting different info.

I drink this every day at lunch with water - it has no taste at all. I don't even know it is in there.

I bought it for my joints as well. That was the part that sold me. But I also take Maximum Joint Effort and noticed a huge different when I switched to that.

My rheumatologist recommended it when i asked him. He said I could get it at any health food store but I bought Lessman's.

arrabella, lol, it sure seems like that. Clearly this should be a question for Andrew to answer in the online broadcasts. Smiley Wink

I'm pretty sure Andrew said it was OK to put it in hot liquids. Soup, broth, etc. also.

Who boils coffee? No one I know of... That ruins the coffee.

@willdob3 @bebe777

I drink Starbucks instant VIA almost every morning and I boil the water for it.  So for me, if I were to want to ruin my beautiful cup of coffee with coconut milk, I would have to wait for it to cool a bit.
