I was speaking with a co-worker of mine who is 35. She told me she was referred for a mammogram because they are now being recommended for women starting at age 35.
Is this the (new) norm?
Given the fact that a person is being exposed to radiation each time he/she undergoes any sort of x-ray, is it even wise to begin having mammograms each year at age 35?
