I wanted to report in.  I just got back from the doctors and my brain MRI was good.  The brain tumor has not grown at all in 11 yrs.  I am so grateful for all the prayers and am feeling so relieved.

@jubilant  What a wonderful relief! Didn't realize you've been dealing with this nerve-wracking procedure for 11 years. Hopefully you and that tube are becoming used to each other and realize it's nothing to fear; it's helpful to your health to maintain a record of when/if any changes should occur.

Keeping a  healthy record for this long (without any changes) is certainly in your favor!  Best wishes for continued great scans like today.

@BirkiLady  I should have made this more clear in my first post. I haven't had an MRI on my brain for 11 yrs. They found the meningioma in 2005.  I had one every year for 5 or 6 yrs. and I decided to stop  having them in 2011.....so it had been 10 to 11 yrs. since my last one.  I know I shouldn't have waited so long.

I did not see this until today, so pray you had the MRI without incident. I must have a brain MRI every 90 days and have been having them done since 2014.  I cannot deal with them without a Valium. I would think the dr would have prescribed one since you have been anxious due to your other health issues. Please keep us updated on how things went.

@Trailrun23   It went well. The technician told me I did "very well". None of my issues acted up while I was having it which was a miracle.  That doesn't happen very often so I really appreciated all the thoughts and prayers.

The MRI's I had many years ago were the kind you went all the way in....I mean the whole body.  I didn't have trouble with them but was glad I only went part way in this time.
