Lost 10 pounds in July! . . . . . and 8 more in August !!!!!

Woo hoo! I hope you don't mind if I toot my own horn! {#emotions_dlg.blush} I never expected to lose this much in month 2. I figured I'd lose more like 5 or 6 lbs.

I did it based loosely on The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet, where breakfast and lunch are both protein meals, and dinner includes some carbs, but must be consumed within one hour. My version of this program includes a 4th "cheat day" to fool the metabolism. My original link for "Lost 10 pounds in July!" is below if anyone would like to read more details:

This is probably the easiest weight loss program I've ever undertaken in that I did not find I was hungry at all. Today, my stomach has shrunk so much that I couldn't even consume the amount of food that I used to eat if I wanted to. I feel great, my energy level is vastly improved. About 3 years of overeating got me to a size 14. I'm back down to an 8-10. Would LOVE to continue and get really lean and mean, LOL, down to a size 6. I know, for me, this eating plan is right because I am carb-sensitive and can easily become carb-addicted. So I intend to continue eating a larger percentage of protein in my diet, in general. The EASY part was losing -- the challenge will be to keep it off!

If any of you have tried this from my previous thread, I'd love to hear from you! Kiss
