My SIL had a years long  bout with her losing her voice--just a few years ago. I'm not sure if she had any polyps but she literally could only whisper. She went to many drs and even had physical therapy for her vocal cords--have you ever heard of that? she is fine now but a very strange thing.Not sure if she ever found out why or how that happened either.

No, I've never heard of therapy for that.  I'll definitely ask though whenever I go to my regular drs appointment.  Thank you for responding and letting me know about this.💝🌸

Im hoping it's temporary too.  I've been drinking a lot of hot tea and lemon water to try and help.  I hope it doesn't take very long to get an appointment with the ENT.  I'll have to go through my primary care first though.

You're right😃 I love getting to talk here with my forum friends.  It's weird that I lost my voice this week too.  My ex who I've been apart from for several years called here and left a message for me to call.  He's the LAST person I want or need to talk to lol.  Divine intervention perhaps.😊💝🌸

Thank you for asking.💝🌸. Yes, fortunately it has gotten a little better.  It always takes 4-5 days after I've been talking more than usual to get back to its new normal lol.

I don't think I'll ever get to 100% until I see the ENT about this.  I haven't been able to sing in so many years...and I love to sing.  I hope they can fix me back to normal lol.
