Re: Looking at Collegen Peptide Powder--With Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C

I see no explanation as to what is in the Free Range, the caps I take tell you exactly what they contain, his just says a blend, but a blend of what??   Also doesnt say if it is Type 1, 2, 3 5 or X collagen types.

@Major Shopper and @SilleeMee That's interesting about the eye surgery.  I have floaters that I consider manageable too.  I watch that closely since I was able to catch a hole forming in my retina when I suddenly had a huge number of floaters appear (like 20 - 30 spread out like buck shot).  Called doc and he had me come in immediatley and they did laser repair on the spot (their retina specialist happened to be there that day) and they worked me in.  Said things would have been way more drastic if Ihadn't come straight in.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Re: Looking at Collegen Peptide Powder--With Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C

[ Edited ]

I have been taking the vital protein powder in my morning almond milk now for about a year daily....

I do think it has made my hair thicker and grows faster.  My hair was getting thin at the temples over the last 10 years... and just adding this powder has seemed to do more than anything else I have tried including hair vitamins and the like.

I think also,  it has helped my skin stay firmer... especially my arm skin. The other day I was going sleeveless, and at the dentist office the girl doing my teeth cleaning  said  out of the blue "nice arms I have"...

I do not work out... and they are very firm and slim. I think the collagen has helped the muscles and the skin to be firmer. No wrinkles at all and I am 67 ish.

@Sooner

As with all of my supplements, I buy the ones I can afford to buy on a long-term basis while looking for the 'best' my money can buy.
