I just read there's a petition going around to get Subway to remove an ingredient from their bread that is used in yoga mats and sneaker soles.
Makes the bread nice and evenly bubbled, more satisfying visually.
I don't eat subway simply because they don't offer organic
And I was always suspicious of those silicone loaf pans they bake the bread in.

Thank you, Ladybug! I was beginning to think I was in the Twilight Zone! There's something odd about the pic of the ingredient list--when was the last time we saw the ingredients also listed in French?

Thank you, Irshgrl. I just pulled out my box of peanut butter cheerios which we eat about 3 times a week. The ingredient listed on the box is tripotassium phosphate, thank goodness. Hope you are doing well!

Unless you grow and eat all your own food in virgin soil and have pristine water to irrigate, you are going to find a lot of things on food labels that will look suspect. The best we can do is limit the amount of processed food we eat and hope for the best.
I don't know food manufacturers put so many chemicals in food, clearly they want to extend shelf life, but do we need to have Cheerios that last 18 months? Some things are added so products don't stick together, some so they keep their shape longer. There are choices of allegedly healthier cereals, but since I am not much of a cereal eater, I haven't tried them. Guess the same problem exists with cookies, etc.
We all have choices, however, and have to make them ourselves.

I thought the same thing. When I first read the title, I thought it said cherries, and I skipped it. Then I saw it again in the feed and thought she must mean Cheerios! I like Cheerios; they're in my cereal rotation of Nabisco Shredded Wheat 'N Bran, Raisin Bran, and Cheerios. I like Cheerios the best with berries like strawberries or blueberries or blackberries better than with bananas.

I love peanut butter, so for me, they are very good. They also come in dark chocolate flavored and DH loves them as well as the cinnamon burst. We don't eat cereal every morning, but a small bowl 3-4 times a week is enjoyable.
