Lo Loestrin Fe..please help

I'm 43 years old. I had a hysterectomy three months ago, and have been on Estradiol. I've had dizziness/heavy head for 2 months, so my GYN put me on Lo Loestrin Fe 10mg today. Has anyone been on this before? Weight gain? Acne? I'm terrified of gaining weight and/or getting acne...thanks so much for your reply

I've been on the regular Loestrin FE for many years, with no issues that I know of.

Just like with anything you take, you have to weigh the issues and decide which is the more important thing - healthwise - to do. Just because there are side effects listed doesn't mean that you will surely get one or more.

I personally would be more concerned about the possibility of any internal issues, not external. But I also realize that it's a matter of "which is the lesser of two problems" - will something help me more than it could (not definitely will) hurt me.
