Re: Lessman's April schedule is up

I had not planned to purchase anything during this visit, but decided to try the Cruciferous (sp) product.  I know I don't get enough green veggies.

@CLEM

I use that. It's best to take it with beef.  I will try to find the post from Mark Sisson on that.

And, um, be prepared to smell brussels sprouts when you open that container.  It is not a good thing before you have your first cup of coffee.  They are the strongest smelling of all the ones I yake.

6. Eat plenty of plants

A couple years ago, I made the case that vegetables, herbs, and other edible plants are especially important for meat eaters. I stand by that. Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli counteract the formation of potentially harmful meaty compounds in the gut. Coffee, tea, and red wine also have similar effects (although we don’t often think of them as plants, these drinks are made from plants). When used in marinades, plants like ginger and garlic can prevent the formation of carcinogens in meat exposed to high-heat cooking techniques.

Re: Lessman's April schedule is up

I was finally able to get through to Procaps to get the info on all of their regular daily prices. -- Below is a comparison of today's TS pricing (listed first) versus the regular daily pricing (listed second & third).

I've also included Andrew's on air schedule at the very end of this post. -- There was a show from noon-2pm which you should be able to catch online, and the final show is 9pm-11pm ET tonight. And, of course, there's also the Monday night variety show. Smiley Happy

___

Ultimate Eye  (& Astaxanthin in bundle -- two largest sizes)

capsule size -- regular price -- TS price (today only)

30 capsules -- $17.90 (regular) -- not available (TS)

40 capsules -- not avail (regular) -- $19.90 (TS)

60 capsules -- $29.90 (regular) -- not available (TS)

120 capsules -- not avail (regular) -- $49.90 (TS)

180 capsules -- $74.90 (regular) -- not available (TS)

360 capsules -- $129.90 (regular) -- $99.90 (TS)

720 capsules -- not avail (regular) -- $159.90 (TS)

---

360 Ultimate Eye & 180 Astaxanthin** capsules -- not avail (regular) -- $149.90 (TS)

720 Ultimate Eye & 360 Astaxanthin** capsules -- not avail (regular) -- $239.90 (TS)

** for Astaxanthin, the 180 capsule size is regularly $74.90 and the 360 capsule size is regularly $129.90.

___

ChocoNuvo (66%, 74% and 91% chocolate options) -- chocolate squares formulated to lower cholesterol

serving size -- regular price -- TS price (today only)

10 servings -- $14.90 (regular) -- not available (TS)

30 servings -- $29.90 (regular) -- $24.90 (TS)

60 servings -- $49.90 (regular) -- $34.90 (TS)

120 servings -- $89.90 (regular) -- $69.90 (TS)

180 servings -- $129.90 (regular) -- not available (TS)

300 servings -- not available (regular) -- $129.90 (TS)

Note: For purposes of cost comparison, I use the regular Procaps Labs prices instead of the regular HSN prices. This is because HSN marks their prices up when Andrew is not on the air, so that their "savings" look even better during Andrew's visits. -- "Regular prices" are the prices regularly available throughout the year.

___

Other special offers & free shipping

Also, there are a number of other Procaps Labs available at special pricing (generally the special pricing is $10-15 off of the largest size). -- Also, I think there may be one or two products available a very special pricing for the month of April but I haven't figured out which ones they are. In these cases the savings may be more substantial.

Additionally, there are a number of other special pricing offers, as well as FREE SHIPPING on all purchases, available through this Monday.

Re: Lessman's April schedule is up

Has anyone tried Andrew's Pyrroloquinoline Quinone/PQQ 20?

I did a search but did not find any discussion or reviews.

Re: Lessman's April schedule is up

I stocked up on the Choco Nuvo.  I like the 74% and have 1 piece in the morning and 1 piece in the afternoon.

Hope it doesn't melt in transit.

@lulu2

I hope it doesn't melt, too. How is your weather?

I need to stop watching when he starts talking about the chocolate! It sounds so good but I have no reason to buy any - and I don't consume sugars at all.

@willdob3

I'm in NJ and one day it's warm then the next is 20 degrees cooler.  I would think they'd have enough sense to put in cooling bags like other places do.

I have no idea if I derive any benefits from this chocolate.  Since I started it, I haven't eaten any other (candy) chocolate, so that is a benefit.

Re: Lessman's April schedule is up

@VaBelle35 thanks for the warning about the smell.  Perhaps I will just take this in the evenings.  I don't eat that much beef, but I would imagine it works with all kind of food.  Perhaps I'll take two of them when I eat beef.

Re: Lessman's April schedule is up

I have never taken Andrew's Ultimate Eye before.  My husband and I both are seeing the natural "aging" problems to our eyes and my mom has macular degeneration.  I am tempted to order it and the reviews are very good, but I would like to know from someone who has taken it if it is really worth getting?   Thanks for your help!
