Leg Hair removal

What is the best way to get rid of leg hair without shaving? I have cellulitis in my leg and they are also swollen. I am not to shave my legs because of small knicks and/or cuts. But the leg hair is driving me nuts. What would you ladies suggest in place of a razor? Thanks.
