He made L+Z due to requests.  It is to supplement Ultimate Eye for people wanted more of this.

You take them together for an extra boost.

Yes, I noticed an improvement when I added L+Z to UES.

Andrew said that people were telling him that their doctors wanted them taking higher amounts so he made the L+Z.

I’m not sure what the changes are to the new UES products other than an option to buy one with 4mg added Astaxanthin. I tried his 4mg Astaxanthin before and it did not do a thing for me. He offers a 12 mg Astaxanthin supplement that gets very good reviews. I might try that but I can’t see spending extra money for 4mg added to UES.

Do you think it's necessary to take Ultimate Eye and Maximum L & Z?

its getting expensive and I'm wondering if it's beneficial to take both or is just the UES enough?

@Valstybaby  If you are happy with the results you are getting with UES there is no need to take any additional eye supplements. If you are not sure if you need L+Z then you probably don’t.

There was a time when UES was great for me and nothing else was needed but that was many years ago.

I don't notice anything with ultimate eye, but I stare at a screen all day for work and way too much during non-work hours, so I think all of the eye products are important long term.

I now take just L & Z and not UE but just ordered the UE and am running out of the L & Z so didn't know if I should reorder that to go with it. I'm 70 so I think maybe it would be beneficial.

It's a personal choice.  Do you go to an MD for your eye every year?  I do and I discuss these supplements with her.

She's a big fan of Flax Seed (2Tablespooons a day) for dry eye and is intrigued about phytoceramides for dry eye and wrote some stuff down about it to look into.  I'll be interested to hear what she says when I go back this year.

I get my eyes checked every year but just found out about Ultimate Eye very recently.
