Juvederm: My Second Experience. . . . .

Recently, I wrote about my first (VERY painful) experience with Juvederm (nasolabial lines). Here is the thread about first experience if anyone is interested:

I decided to go back to finish the job (have my marionette lines done), but this time I was numbed with lidocaine in advance. What a huge difference. It was absolutely tolerable. I might have flinched once. The only downside as my derm said, is that injecting lidocaine takes up some volume under the skin, so it's a bit trickier to determine the proper amount of Juvederm without under- or over-doing it. She did a great job and I'm glad I went back. I had some slight bruising (easily covered with makeup) and tenderness that was pretty much gone in a week.

My problem wasn't that bad to begin with. My lines were not prominent or deep. They're not utterly and completely gone now either, but the difference is that it has taken off about 5-7 years.

Will I do it again? This year I have a few special events which is why I decided to do it in the first place. I don't think I will ever have the attitude that I must have it, that I can't face the world without it, but at least if I ever decide to do it again I won't be fearful.
