Just started a walking program and....

I have a really strange question. I did a three mile walk on a track yesterday and a two mile walk on a treadmill today. Tonight the top of my big toes feel bruised - like my tennis shoes irritated them too much from repetitive motion. I can't even imagine putting on a closed in shoe again tomorrow. I bet if I took of my nail polish my toes would look like someone stepped on my feet! Does anyone know what I can do to avoid this in the future? TIA and I will check back tomorrow to see if anyone has a suggestion. Goodnight. Smiley Happy
