I have dealt with a lot of pain in the last 28 years, but this has to be the worst; even surpassing having shingles five times and gout twice. I developed a fissure in the opening that expels fecal matter (won't let me post the actual anatomical name of opening). There is a lot of bleeding and now I have a terrible yeast infection in this opening and ALL surrounding tissue. I am also diabetic due to taking Prednisone so healing is not my best skill. The only way to explain this degree of pain is to imagine you are passing razor blades or broken glass then pouring alcohol or acid in the cuts. Pain pills are not even dulling it. I may have to have surgery but not until yeast infection clears completely. Has anyone had this problem to the degree that it's seemingly unbearable? It doesn't help any that I have to use a wheelchair to be mobile. I don't think there is anything to do except be put in a medically-induced coma, and that's not going to happen.
