Re: Is your Doctor an Osteopathic Doctor?

I worked with two orthopedic surgeons, the older of the two was an M.D. and the younger, a D.O. The D.O. went to Midwest School of Osteopathic Medicine. The training is the same except for the manipulations they are schooled in. Many a time, a nurse would call and ask if he could do a manipulation on them, which he did.

Also, the M.D. continues to be the Chairman of the Residency Program at the hospital through Midwest.

They are every bit as well trained as any M.D.

There's that saying, "what do you call a person who graduates at the bottom of their class in medical school? DOCTOR". There is good and bad and some mediocre in any profession.

I've been to both during my life and I can't tell the difference. Around here the main method of dealing with anything is write a prescription.

Is your Doctor an Osteopathic Doctor?

I have a lot of doctors but none of them are an Osteopath. I have seen one in past decades, but never had one as my primary or doctor of a specialty.

If a person is happy with their doctor(s) that is all that counts.
