Do you count low calorie foods like celery and lettuce? Or do you just eat all that you want? Just curious.
I used to be on WW and we got veggies and fruit unlimited. It never made sense to have fruit unlimited in my mind, but veggies were ok in my mind. I can't get out of that mindset that veggies are free to eat.
What do you do?

I am on a diet right now trying to lower my cholesterol, don't want to take statins. I use the "my fitness pal dot com" website for tracking my daily foods. The nutritionist at doctors office gave me the %'s to tweek to fit what she wanted me eating (fat/cholesterol/fiber). So I track everything, fruits and veggies included.

Counting everything. It's not an exact science, but close enough. I lost 4 1/2 pounds the first week of limiting my daily caloric intake. DH says he lost weight too, but will not say how much. I gain most of my weight up top. I'll know I'm in better shape when I fit nicely into my black leather sheath dress for Valentine's Day dinner. I wish everyone well in their diets.

I'm counting calories right now. (Holiday weight ~ blek). When I eat my salad for lunch it only consists of hearts of romaine lettuce and low cal dressing. I measure the dressing, total the calories, and throw in 10 extra calories for the lettuce. Lettuce is about 5 calories for 1/2 cup.

I like the feature of entering your own recipe with servings size and it figures out the nutrition data for you. I made sure NOT to include it in their database, just in my file. I don't include exercise either (that net carb / eat back idea, still confusing).. my workouts are not that intense, doing the 30 day, 30 minute walking/strength dvd by Leslie ?... figure as long as I am losing it slow n go I am not depriving myself of nutrients by overworking out. Kinda hit a stall, but did the measurements (vs scale), lo n behold things were a shifting! My rings are now spinning, so I am getting skinny fingers!
