Love the lemonade. I stumbled across another favorite of mine in packets: Diet Snapple / Peach Tea. Yum.

I do this too but I also put a splash of lemon juice in my water. I carry my Stevia and lemon juice in my handbag and use them when I go to a restaurant. Each of these products come in small containers that fit right in the pockets of my handbag.

I mix water with thin slices of cucumber (I don't even LIKE cucumber but love it in water- very refreshing) or orange slices.
I also like to mix water with 100% fruit juice (no sugar added), usually about 3/4 water to 1/4 fruit juice (or less!). Trader joes has a watermelon cucumber juice that was awesome for this but I mix it up- sometimes cranberry juice, sometimes pom juice, cherry juice, etc..
You can mix these all with either regular juice or sparkling water if you want the carbonation effect.
ETA: I don't like diet sodas but I really love regular Coke, I just don't drink it very often because they just really aren't good for you.

I went cold turkey and gave up soda back in 2008. I love pepsi and coke (straight up not the diet kind) and it was very hard for me to do. I can count the times I have had a soda on my hands since then.
What I really like instead is I drink a water called "hint". It dosent have any chemical additives, zero calories and just a hint of fruit flavor. This keeps me away from soda and it is good for me.

I tried all the squirt-type solutions and they all upset my stomach. My chiropractor sells a fine powder, Optima Replenisher, that I buy in a large size from Amazon. I get the orange flavor, but it comes in other flavors. I find I drink more water if it has some flavor. The Optima Replenisher is the most cost-effective, healthy way that works for me.
All that being said, even after many years of giving up soda, I still get cravings and have one once or twice a year.
Best of luck in your soda detox! Diet cola is bad stuff and you are definitely doing the right thing!
love your post can you tell me the bad things about diet soda...

I stopped drinking soda years ago because of the high sodium levels. I started with just bottled water and iced tea. I tried Crystal Light and do turn to it some, but the most satisfying flavors are the Mio flavors that you can put in a bottle of water to get whatever depth of flavor you want. Wal-mart has some generics that I like as well (Cherry-Limeade).

I gave up all colas all together about 10 years ago. My husband was several years ago.
We just drink water.
When we do get a soda to split between the 2 of us, it is like drinking pure sugar.

I've never been much of a soda drinker, but what I'm enjoying most these days is ice cold, filtered (Brita) water. Sometimes I'll have some TJ's lite lemonade. I'm always striving to drink more water.

Are you giving it up for the caffeine or the artificial sweetener?
We drink the powdered Arizona sugar free iced tea all year round, and we also drink a sugar free pink lemonaide
