Take it easy and return when you can. It was thoughtful of you to let us know, because a lot of us do wonder when a regular disappears!
I hope it all goes well for you.

@cherry I can totally relate to your injury. I recently had ongoing pain in my shoulder which began to radiate down my inner arm. I knew it was the same injury I had several years prior acting up again. The ortho doc took x-rays that showed a large bone spur jabbing into the rotator cuff. He said I probably had a small tear or two as well due to the restricted range of motion, but that could only be verified with an MRI. He injected my shoulder with cortisone (hurt like heck!)
He said most impingements can be helped with therapy. So, I had PT 2x a week for 6 weeks (and just finished the last PT appointment last week.) The cortisone took down the inflammation enough for the PT to help strengthen the muscles, etc. My shoulder/arm are much better since the PT. This past Monday, I had my follow-up appointment with the ortho doc. He was pleased with the outcome but warned me... I must do the exercises the PT sent me home with 2-3 times a week forever. They don't take long...maybe 5-8 minutes. He said if I didn't do the exercises, I would be back to square one and back to see him.
So, I'm doing the exercises sometimes before I go to bed, other times in the morning after I make my bed. So far, so good. I hope the PT works for you. Pick a really good PT place...it does make a difference in the outcome. Good luck!

Please take care. Therapy for a bum shoulder can be very painful, but may also yield GREAT results.
In my prayers!

Glad you posted to let us know @cherry. I hope the PT works out well for you. I have a relative who is currently receiving PT for their shoulder. It's going well - they have been able to go from twice a week down to once a week PT.

I had PT for a fractured shoulder years ago. It was tough and I thought how is this going to help me. There were times that I didn’t want to go but I did and it worked. It took time but it did. Stay with it. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
