No, @sidsmom. Sounds like I could use something like it on veggies though. I'll have to look it up. Thank you.
Oh, that's the kind made with cashews. I'm going to have to make some of this. I love cashews. I could o.d. on this and then it wouldn't be so healthy lol

Here's a vegan, no nuts, SOS free recipe (below).
I've made the first one he demonstrates.
The potato, my sweet beloved Tater, is what really thickens it up.
You can throw a stick & hit a dozen of these vegan cheese recipes.
Yes, the one with nuts will be 'heavier' on the tongue.
I think the OG recipe was cooked potato, carrot, veg broth, spices
and just blend until smooth...then everyone wanted to put their
own spin....it's all good!
This video will want you to make this....immediately.
Stay until the end...he's so funny.

My daughter is Vegan. The only problem with nutritional yeast is, if you tend to get migraines, beware. This can give one migraines.

I've never heard the migraine-nutritional yeast connection.
Do you have a source for this?
migraine.com has a list of 'do not eat' foods,
which nutritional yeast is on the do not list, as well as potato,
spinach & bananas (?), so there's really no rhyme or reason
why these foods aren't allowed. There are so many outside
factors to migraines, unless you do a strict elimination diet
where new foods are introduced slowly over a period of time,
these 'do not eat' lists are questionable.

I love it on popcorn! I also make cheese sauce with it for healthier mac n cheese.

Hi. I found this out years ago. First through eliminating foods, then adding back. I also found several sites and blogs that said it can bring on migraines. I remember one site, migraine.com. Several people have this problem with nutritional yeast, brewers yeast etc..If I want cheese for my pasta, I use the Treeline cheese. It does satisfy me. I also use Low Salt Panko Bread Crumbs on my pasta instead of cheese. These work for me so there is no need for the yeast. Everyone has to find what works for them. I hope my findings help.
