There are actual support groups your oncologist can recommend to you where there is a professional moderator who will weed out the incorrect information and be certain you are hearing the real truth. There is a ton of incorrect info given on this board all the time - and people will wear and fight and say they are the one who knows the true facts - when what they are saying is not at all correct. That is why this BB is not a good place to come to for information. I am a nurse and I am a cancer survivor twice - a professional support group is very helpful.

A lot of places don't have support groups anymore.
