Re: I had a panic attack this after noon

@I am still oxox   Hope you are feeling better now but I'm sure it was a terrible feeling. I'm not sure what I would do under those circumstances but I sure hope you don't have to go through this again.

@I am still oxox  I really empathize with you.  I'm prone to panic attacks also.  I thought I was dying alot of times.  Once you have one you live in fear of another.

I'm so sorry @I am still oxox anxiety attacks are so frightening! One is never quite sure if one is having a heart attack at first. I am glad you had someone to reach out to and I am wishing you well. If the attacks continue, please contact your physician. ❤️

Re: I had a panic attack this after noon

@I am still oxox Glad you are ok. That's scary. I'm 76 but when I was in my early 20's I was grocery shopping with my 2 year old in the cart and had what I later learned from my doc was a big time anxiety attack. Scared me, was worried something would happen to my little son if I couldn't function, was scared, sweaty, shaking and a bit disoriented. I just stood where I was for a minute or two holding on to my shopping cart for dear life, seemed liked hours, until it passed.

Never happened again but I feel for people who have these or panic attacks

Hi! @I am still oxox 🌸

Try and make a point each day to rest your body for 20 - 30 minutes. If you lay down and fall asleep that’s going to rejuvenate your body and mind. You will notice a difference in how you handle stress if you do it faithfully every day. And you will sleep better at night too. Set your alarm, so you don’t go over the 20-30 minute
mark.

When we’re stressed most often we are drained of energy. Power naps are the Best way and easiest way to get our bodies well again. Sleep is powerful and necessary for our well being. 🤗🤗🤗

Re: I had a panic attack this after noon

Well I totally understand....I have 'odd' panic symptoms where I don't feel like I'm having a heart attack and etc., like most people, but I totally disconnect from the moment and don't communicate.  I 'zone out' and don't know where I am, etc.

I've been different places (hair salon, dentist) and have had 911 called on me -- along with calling my DH.  People think I am having a stroke.  I am 'fine' by the time they arrive, but obviously embarrassed and frustrated that this happens.  I have NOT been driving.  I still work P/T, and have no issues there. It's mostly just when I am bored and my mind NEVER stops focusing on my anxiety and PTSD which I suffered from as a child.

I am on a high dose of Zoloft now (also have OCD), and take a low dose of Klonopin as needed....if I am going out where I feel uncomfortable.  And yes, also therapy on Better Help since the beginning of August.  I'm quite a mess!  LOL.
