Im so very sorry to hear that! Those can be the scariest things ever! Whenever it's happened to me, I feel like I'm having a heart attack, can't breathe or I've even passed out! It could've been very dangerous happening to you alone!
Please talk to your dr about this episode. He/she might be able to help you. I'll be thinking of you and sending you warm well wishes.❤️❤️❤️

Way, way back (when I was in my twenties) I had a short span of panic attacks and so I really sympathize with you. Just terribly scary! I even went to the ER once because I thought it was a heart attack.
Two things that my doctor told me to do really helped me - to meditate every day, even if only for 5 minutes, and if it feels like anxiety is starting to spiral to put a rubber band on my wrist and pull on it and really give it a snap. Sounds crazy but that snap diverts your mind from anxious thoughts - they go to pain instead LOL! Kidding it's not really painful, it just changes your train of thought ASAP.
Mine just went away and I've never had another. Crossing my fingers. Good luck and here's hoping that you never have another either.

It's very fortunate that you were able to realize what was going on, as things could have gotten uglier. It's great that you are okay

So sorry you went thru that ! I've never experienced a panic attack but I can imagine it was very scary. I hope you are feeling better and if this becomes a recurring event that you will seek medical advice. Take care

Thank you all for the kind words.

You are not alone, I have had moments like yours for the last 30 years. I have RX for low dose Xanax, keep it with me at all times, and if need be I take it and within 45 minutes the anxiety passes over me and I feel fine again. I never leave home without it, I need to know I have if I need it which is not very often.
